Piu is the family's name... But I think it also means more in Italian!
Well, this long awaited, much wanted, completely loved pair of twins came to me for a visit and a photo shoot. I was so happy to capture these for the parents. They really appreciate my art and they really love their baby girls.
So, here they are!!!!

I have never, ever met a first time mother with the grace and calmness of this mamma. Seriously. She even calmed me, just being around her. Dad is the worrier in this family and the tie that bound us for this particular photo shoot. Mr. Phil, that is what we call him here, was my son's asst. teacher last year and a really important role model to him. So when he asked me to document this time for him and his family, I was honored.
Here is your baby boy. I hope I did him justice!!!!!

I did these images when I was just starting out in my studio work. Hannah's Grandma asked me to repost these images for her... so I looked at my work from then and almost fell down! What was I thinking with my editing! OH MY!!!!

I met Mari's mom last year at the auditions for the Next Food Network Star! (We have great ideas and award winning personalities!) And she and I hit it off right away! Instant BFF! So, I have to say, I was so honored and touched that she wanted me to capture the most important thing that has ever happened to her and her husband... Baby Mari. And here she is in all of her perfectness!!!!

This little guy is the product of two very amazing people! His dad was one of my Captain's while I was in the military, and the best boss I ever had. And his mother is a free spirited, gentle soul. They really are great people, so I am sure Luca is going to be an awesome kid! Welcome to the world Luca!!!!!

And so was the first one! I did a photo session with this family of their oldest son a little while back. I remember thinking, it just doesn't get any cuter... well, this time he seemed to be EVEN cuter! (if that is possible) It was amazing. The same big, beautiful eyes, the same full lips. He is really just a beautiful boy. And the new addition to the family, his little brother, is just as adorable. And a spitting image of his father. This is such a great family to know and to photograph.
And Julia, she really made all the photo sessions I did in Aviano possible. She told all of her friends that I was coming to town, gave them my information and helped to figure out the schedule. Unfortunately, I couldn't fit all of them in. But the ones we did do were really amazing.
Julia, thank you for trusting me again with your family's memories and with those of your friends. You are a great friend and client!

Seriously, I do. You know, sometimes you do a photo session and it can be the first time you meet a couple and their family. Well, with this family, I felt like I had already known them. It was so comfortable and it was, honestly, alot of fun! If I lived in Aviano right now, I am sure Chelsey and I would be friends! She is a great mom and really, just a cool person. And her husband is such a nice guy... and he is a fan of the camera! He had a better camera than me (duck)... I tried to trade him, but he wasn't having it... Darn it. But he was so nice to let me shoot with it some!
I just wanted to tell you guys that I really enjoyed meeting you! You are both amazing people, and your sons are beautiful!!!!

I am the lucky photographer that gets to capture Laura's first year of life! She has been a doll since the moment I met her and time has done nothing but make her even more adorable!
I love this age for photos... she is sitting up, she has teeth, she's so agreeable... I mean, really, they are just so cute you could break a tooth!
And no one can forget Claire, the big sister, who is always camera ready!!!! She is too cute for words!
